2020 was a year that everything changed. The pandemic coupled with racial injustices and rampant misinformation/disinformation made libraries more vital than ever. "Imagine. Learn. Create. Together." was developed earlier in the year to reinforce the idea that we are all in this together. Through SCLA, we can create connections across the state to learn from each other and to advocate together. The pandemic and racial injustices will continue to have lasting effects. It has not only affected our libraries and communities, but it has also changed us individually. It is vital that SCLA continues to support our members and our libraries through the years ahead. We will continue to advocate, grow, lead, support, and teach library employees throughout this state.
