Library and Personnel Standards Committee

Membership:

Six members of the Association, preferably representing various Sections and Round Tables and all types of libraries.

Duties:

  • Recommends standards and/or guidelines to enhance South Carolina library services and resources and to improve benefits to South Carolina library personnel.
  • Examines various standards and guidelines relevant to libraries.
  • Determines the existence of, and works in conjunction with, other similar groups from the various Sections of related organizations.
  • Studies library statistics and methods used in reporting and evaluating library services and resources.
  • Undertakes specific projects at the request of the Executive Board.
