Libraries, if you were not available to gather your stats on March 30th, the make-up date for gathering your stats is April 13th. Please remember to enter your stats at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PQCQFD8 on April 14th.
To date, 140 K-12, Academic, Public, and Special libraries have entered their March 30th stats.
Please make a concerted effort to enter your library's data.
Thanks for your help in this project!
Project details:
On Tuesday March 30, as accurately as possible, record three major stats during the day:
1. How many people come into your library*
2. How many of your library's items circulate
3. How many people use computers in your library
Then between Wednesday March 31 and Wednesday April 14 record your stats online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PQCQFD8.
The survey will be open between March 31 and April 14 for you to enter these three statistics. The information gathered will be used during National Library Week and other times throughout the year to show how much libraries are being used in South Carolina.
*Library systems with multiple branches may want to coordinate the data collection for their system or have each branch report individually. This will be left up to each library system. Totals to be used will only be by type of library: K-12, Academic, Public, or Special.
Thank you again for your help in collecting these important numbers!
