Bibliographic Instruction Interest Group:

 

Information Literacy Across South Carolina: Diverse Programs for a
Diverse State 

Wednesday, October 28

3:30pm-5:00pm in Carolina D

 

Our panelists represent academic, school, and public libraries around
the state:

David Bell, Horry County Schools

Stella Carmody, Horry County Schools

Clo Cammarata, Richland County Public Library

Rose Parkman Marshall, University of South Carolina Aiken

 

Hear from the panelists about their  information literacy programs and
join in what promises to be a stimulating discussion about various
approaches to information literacy in different types of libraries
across the state.

 

Call for Nominations for BI Interest Group Officers

The final 10-15 minutes of the session will be devoted to the BI
Interest Group business meeting. During the past few months, we have
lost both our Chair, Jamie Graham, and Vice-Chair, Lisa Hartman, who
both took new positions out of state. That leaves me, the nominal
Secretary, as the only officer left! While I am happy to put forward my
name for Chair, I need your help! If you would like to volunteer or
nominate someone for one of our offices, especially Vice-Chair and
Secretary, please contact me at akearns at uscupstate.edu.
