RDA Training for Catalogers

In partnership with SCLA Technical Services Section, the State Library offers a one-day workshop on RDA for catalogers of any experience level. Learn about rules and best practices in RDA cataloging, with a focus on common material types. Attendees will experience line-by-line training demonstrating how RDA rules translate to MARC records. Questions are encouraged!

Learning Objectives: Participants will increase their understanding of best practices in RDA cataloging. Participants will gain practical experience in applying RDA in MARC.

Cost: Registration fee $10

If you would like to cancel your seat and you meet the deadline indicated above, please contact the Continuing Education Consultant. You may send another staff person in your place, or receive a credit for a future CE event. Anyone who does not cancel prior to 5 business days before the event will be responsible for payment for the class.
