Law librarians from USC School of Law's Coleman Karesh Law Library will
be at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC on Friday, May 28th as part
of their statewide Circuit Riders Outreach program. The Circuit Riders
program is a free workshop designed to teach librarians and educators
about the legal research process and the resources that are available to
help them meet legal research needs.  

The program includes: an overview of the legal system, to include the
legislative, executive, and judicial branches, and how they function; an
introduction to the primary and secondary legal resources available to
public and academic libraries; recommendations for building a basic
low-cost print legal collection; and guidance for providing legal
reference without giving legal advice.

The workshop will be held at Dacus Library, 824 Oakland Avenue, from 
9:30 am - 4:00 pm.  Lunch break will be on your own from 12:00 pm - 1:30
pm.
