Jim also reported:

Good news for public libraries.  I just returned from the House Ways and
Means Committee meeting.  They approved the FY10-11 budget that will be
presented to the full House in several weeks.

Public libraries will receive:

    $1,172,758 from stimulus funding.

    $2 million from unclaimed prize moneies from the lottery.

The State Library was not as fortunate.  I have discussed the numbers with
David Goble.  It is not clear at this point impact this will have on State
Library programs.  David will communicate at a later date what the cut will
mean for the State Library.

No funds were provided for PASCAL or school libraries.
