Subject: [alacro-l] Annual Early Bird Registration Ends 3/5; Add the Orientation for Chapter Leaders Workshop

February 19, 2010

Good afternoon!

If you haven't registered for the 2010 Annual Conference, Annual Early Bird Registration ends March 5. Visit or http://tinyurl.com/d3pmle for all details concerning registering for the Annual Conference. (Here, too: http://www.ala.org/ala/conferencesevents/upcoming/annual/index.cfm.)

While you're registering, please join us at the Orientation for Chapter Leaders Workshop, Friday, June 25, 2010, 9:30am-4:00 p.m.

Presented by the ALA Chapter Relations Committee at each ALA Midwinter and Annual, the Orientation for Chapter Leaders Workshop<http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/affiliates/chapters/chapterleaders/chapleaderorientation.cfm> provides a great opportunity for you, as Chapter Leaders (especially incoming leaders), to meet together and discuss topics of interest. The program provides a full agenda on a variety of topics to help prepare you to lead your association. Presentation areas will include Membership Development, Organizational Excellence, New Revenue Ideas, Media Training, and Advocacy. Includes a full lunch and break.

If you already have registered, you can go back into your registration record and sign up for the Orientation for Chapter Leaders Workshop. Just enter code ALA4 on your registration form to add this program.

Or, if calling Experient would be easier, the number is 800-974-3084.

Don
