Good afternoon!

ALA is planning another Libraries Build Communities Day, in Washington, D.C., for Friday, June 25.  We hope you will volunteer!

We already have commitments for projects with the Habitat for Humanity, and the Capitol Area Food Bank, and are working on projects with the D.C. Public Schools and the D.C. Public Library.

Libraries Build Communities – Special Event: Friday, June 25, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Register to participate in this day-long service effort to help local libraries and the community! All participants will be notified in advance of the various
projects and be able to pick the one in which they wish to participate. Your registration fee will be contributed to local library funds. Lunch, transportation, and a participation T-shirt are included. Tickets: Advance: $10 Onsite: $10 Event Code: ALA3
