Greetings!

 

I encourage you to take a few moments during the beginning of this New
Year to renew your membership or become a first time member of the South
Carolina Library Association.  The membership year runs from January 1 -
December 31, 2010.  Your South Carolina Library Association membership
provides opportunities to advocate and provide support for libraries,
network with library staff members who are working on similar projects
or dealing with similar issues, and to use your leadership skills to
help guide the association as it grows and develops.  Membership options
and opportunities for involvement are available for everyone!  Please
take time to explore the South Carolina Library Association's website at
http://www.scla.org/ as I guarantee that you will find a committee,
round table, or section of interest.  Here you will also find
information about the 2010 conference to be held 10/20-10/22 in Myrtle
Beach. 

 

Joining the South Carolina Library Association or renewing your
membership is made easy with the options to use PayPal and pay with your
credit card or to download and mail the membership form with check
payment.  Both options are available from the South Carolina Library
Association's web page at

The South Carolina Library Association is your library association and
