[Scla-list] Leadership Retreat This Saturday, February 6, 2010

Dear Section, Round Table, and Committee Chairs:

I just wanted to remind you that our Leadership Retreat is this Saturday at the South Carolina State Library, in Room 309 (1430 Senate Street) beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The Retreat should conclude by 1:00 p.m.  Please feel free to park in any spaces behind the building.

The purpose of the Retreat is to begin planning for the Annual Conference, any mid-year workshops and to orient new board members to SCLA and your leadership roles.  Our First Vice President, Adam Haigh has planned an exciting day for us.

Please bring your Section, Round Table or Committee’s Leadership Manual with you for information and updates.  The 2009 Chair should have given that to you to assist you as the 2010 Chair.   If you have not received one, Donald Wood, the Executive Secretary will have some new manuals on hand for distribution.

If you are unable to attend, please send a representative from your Section, Round Table or Committee to participate and report back to you.
