[Scla-list] ALA's Ahead to 2015 Strategic Plan

Hi everyone,

As many of you who attended our recent conference know, I conducted a
forum to discuss ALA's Ahead to 2015 strategic plan.  We had a small but
enthusiastic group participate and we came up with some interesting
ideas.   However, I wanted to give others who are interested the
opportunity for input a chance to chime in.   You'll notice that I've
attached a forum worksheet.  I encourage any of you who are interested
to fill it out and return it as an attachment (or you can simply answer
below and reply via email.)  There are only four questions to answer
including:

 

What are the most important things that ALA can do to help you as a
librarian 

What are the most important things ALA can do for libraries?

What are the most important things ALA can do for the public?

What are the most pressing/most important issues facing libraries and
the profession?
