Hi everyone,  Marilyn Tsirigotis at the Clarendon County Library just
sent me this interesting information that I wanted to forward:

Washington Post columnist, Eugene Robinson, winner of the Pulitzer Prize
for
commentary on the election of the first African American President, is a
native of Orangeburg, SC.  He is the son of Mrs. Louisa Smith Robinson
and
the late Harold Robinson of Orangeburg, SC.

Mrs. Louisa Robinson is the retired library director at Claflin
University,
Orangeburg, SC and a former member of the South Carolina Library
Association.
