Festival set for March 8-9
From folk tales to ghost tales, enjoy some of the best national and local storytellers as they inspire, amuse and delight audiences with stories that reminisce about childhood, tickle your funny bone and transport you to another place and time.
 
Join us for the inaugural Charleston Tells Storytelling Festival under the moss-draped oaks in Wragg Square, and the adjacent Second Presbyterian Church, in downtown Charleston for these must-see performances plus musical entertainment and special programs for the whole family.

SCLA Leadership Retreat, February 2, 2013

SCLA will hold its annual Leadership Retreat on Saturday, February 2, from 10 a.m.until 4 p.m. in Columbia, SC. All officers of SCLA Sections, Round Tables, and Committees are encouraged to attend. This is be a time for you to meet others who are serving in leadership roles in SCLA and set goals for the year.

Location:
Thomas Cooper Library –USC, Graniteville Room on the Mezzanine level. The building will be open and either Reference or Circulation can help direct people to the room
