Membership: This year we had no increase or decrease in membership. Our membership met at the Annual Conference in Columbia. No resolutions were proposed, passed, or defeated. The membership agreed that more outreach to the GLBT community was necessary and to that end each member agreed to work harder this year to increase our membership.
Presentations: This year at the Annual Conference the GLBTRT presented a session titled: Frequently Asked Questions from your GLBT Patrons. There were 22 in the audience and a list of questions were generated. These questions are being answered and those responses will be posted to the GLBT website on line. Presenting at the session was Gypsey Teague, Chair, Curtis Rogers, Vice Chair, and Marla Roberson, Secretary.
Plans: The RT plans to present next year at the Annual Conference on “What does it take to be a Stonewall Book Award Winner?”. The RT will give away copies of the award nominated books to those that attend the session.
