Participate in a panel of S.C. Librarians
The primary purpose of this workshop is to share cutting-edge
initiatives in Librarian-Faculty collaboration and to provide
opportunities for networking on this important topic with your South
Carolina colleagues. The morning sessions will feature expert speakers
with an emphasis on instructional collaboration from both a librarian
perspective and a faculty perspective.
We are seeking South Carolina Librarians who have had an active role in
innovative Library-Faculty collaborative experiences for participation
in a three-person panel discussion during the afternoon session of the
workshop. We are particularly interested in including creative
collaborative endeavors that are not specifically instruction related.
Each panelist will be asked to speak for approximately 10 - 12 minutes
on their particular initiative and to then participate in a 15 minute
panel-audience question and answer session. If you are interested in
participating in this panel discussion at our workshop, please email
Christie Eller, SCLA College & University Section Chair at
christinae@usca.edu no later than April 15, 2008 with the following
information:
1. Brief description of your collaborative experiences. If possible,
please include the type and frequency of your experiences.
2. Your name, title, affiliation, and contact information.
The College & University Section officers will consider all entries and
extend invitations to three panelists by April 30, 2008. We have
limited funds to subsidize mileage and will waive your attendance fee.
We'd love to hear about your collaborative experiences and give you the
opportunity to share them with your fellow SC Librarians!
