Editorial Committee

Membership:

Six members of the Association, plus the editors of Association publications.

Recommends guidelines for official publications to the Executive Board for approval.
Assists the editors of Association publications by suggesting articles for publication, securing them, and writing for publication when possible.
Assists in other matters at the request of the editors of Association publications.
Contacts Sections and Round Tables of the Association for suggested individuals to serve as reporters for Association publications.
Appoints a member of the committee to serve as liaison to the Southeastern Librarian in order to disseminate information of regional interest concerning South Carolina Librarians.
Suggests guidelines for advertising rates for Association publications.
Examines the financial condition of the Association publications.
Assists the Executive Secretary in the collection of materials for the South Carolina Library Association Archives.
Ensures publicity of news (especially dates of events) and information on related professional associations in South Carolina Library Association publications.
Ensures that an official copy of all publications is sent to the Executive Secretary for inclusion in the South Carolina Library Association Archives.
