2005 Annual Report Online Users Round Table

At the 2005 Annual Conference in Columbia, the Online Users Round Table co-sponsored a program with the Resource Sharing Interest Group titled “The Future of Collaboration: New Electronic Tools for Sharing Resources among South Carolina’s Libraries.” Around 30 people attended the session.

Speakers were:

  • Tom Jacobson of Innovative Interfaces, Inc., who demonstrated features of Innovative’s INN-Reach Direct Consortial Borrowing System
  • Marna Hostetler, Chair of PASCAL’s Universal Borrowing Committee, who discussed the committee’s INN-Reach pilot project involving eight academic libraries in South Carolina
  • Patti Butcher, Director of the South Carolina State Library, who shared her vision of future resource sharing for the libraries of the state
  • Amy Duernberger, DISCUS Program Director at the South Carolina State Library, who gave an update on the newest shared resources funded by DISCUS
