Nominating Committee
A. Membership: The chairs of the Sections with the immediate Past-President of the association serving as chair of the committee.
B. Duties:
- Nominates a slate of candidates for each elective position, consideration being given to type of library and geographic distribution.
- Notifies the membership of the slate at least thirty days prior to the annual conference.
- Secures information from Association members about their interests and willingness to serve on association committees, and works with the President in filling committee positions, seeing that the committees are broadly representative of the membership in respect to length and variety of experience, ethnic and geographic distribution, etc.
