2006 SCLA Conference College and University Section Activities
The College and University Section enjoyed a good session at the 2006 annual conference. We discussed the whys and wherefores of tenure for librarians and shared frustrations and successes we have encountered on the tenure journey. Our discussants represented many of the college and university libraries of South Carolina. Thanks to all who came and gave us a lively discussion! At the business meeting, we elected officers for 2007 and passed the by-laws change to establish the Programs Coordinator office as a permanent position.
