Bibliographic Instruction Interest Group 2003 Annual Report

The Bibliographic Instruction Interest Group officer position was vacant for the 2003 year until Cole Jacques’ name was submitted to be elected for chair in April 2003. She was appointed to that position by SCLA president Tom Gilson. Jennifer Myers continued as vice chair and Betty Williams continued as secretary from the previous year.

After discussion regarding the conference, it was decided that the BI vice-chair, Jennifer Myers and her co-worker Cindy Schweinfest, would do a conference session sponsored by the BI interest group. The session was entitled “Teaching Computer Instruction to Seniors.” Both presenters work at the Charleston County Public Library in Charleston, SC.

New officers are listed below for 2004:

• Vice chair: Judith Head (State Library)
• Secretary: Betty Williams (Lander University)
