2002 Mission

The Bibliographic Instruction Interest Group aims to fulfill three objectives. They are as follows: to provide a forum for discussion of activities, and programs for all types of libraries and librarians who are involved in bibliographic education; to promote library instruction as an essential component of library service; and to promote communication of the instruction activities in all types of libraries throughout the state.
2002 Conference Program

“Integrating Information Literacy into the College Curriculum”

Speakers:

  • Dr. Hyman Rubin

A librarian (Tuttle) and two professors (Tuten, Rubin), will discuss the successful integration of information literacy skills in an English course at Columbia College, SC.
